The People behind Twisted Oak Medical Massage
Meet our team

Alicia Roberts
Licensed Massage Therapist and Owner
As a medical massage practitioner I am very passionate about helping people find rejuvenation and renewal amidst the stresses of life…and relief from the pains that show up from injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions in the body. My bodywork style is nurturing, holistic and medical based from scientific point of view . My specialties are using a myofascial tool called graston tools to release any tension within the muscles, hot/cold stone contrast therapy, specific techniques to TMJ Dysfunction therapy, and stretching .My experience has been over many years with techniques of Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, post-natal, sports, myofascial release, stone therapy, aromatherapy, and Professor for Massage Therapy program at Horry-Georgetown Technical College .Medical massage therapy not only is my passion but it has saved me from a life of pain dealing with fibromyalgia and injuries. After my husband was injured in the military I began volunteering with our military veterans who are dealing with PTSD and life changing injuries while on duty to serve our country. I am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP). I am also trained in other parts of the medical field as a Certified Phlebotomist, Certified Electrocardiograph (EKG) Technician, South Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant, and CPR -Certified by the American Heart Association. I am pleased to add a service of Reiki to the list of my healing wheel. I am so excited to help all of the many people that come through our doors for the full holistic healing and become family and friends in the end. I look forward to meeting you all soon.

Travis Roberts
Licensed Massage Therapist and Owner
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Sarga Bodywork Practitioner ®, Level Four Reiki Master Practitioner/Teacher, and a retired veteran of the US Navy with 20 years of active duty service. I have my Bachelors Degree of Science in Biology with emphasis in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, and Genetics. I have also been certified by the National Health Careers Association in phlebotomy and electrocardiogram technician, as well as CPR Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association. After experiences with clients who suffer from PTSD, I saw reiki and massage as a great alternative to conventional treatments with drugs. It brings a sense of calm and peace to me and my clients each time I conduct a session. I invite you to come with an open mind to achieve a sense on inner peace with me.

Tiffany Strickland
Licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician
My name is Tiffany Strickland, and I own Elysian @ Twisted Oak Medical Massage. Together with some of my closest peers we are working towards a new era in massage and wellness. Although I am new to the world of owning my own business, I am no stranger to a massage table or pedicure chair! I have worked in the Conway area for a little over 5 years now to hone my skills into an experience you will be eager to call home about! I started my journey in cosmetology and REALLY wanted to do hair… unfortunately I quickly discovered that my heart simply wasn’t in it. After much reflection and dedication I realized I loved the nail aspect and even skincare…. just not hair! The Spa I was working at desperately needed a consistent massage therapist at the time, and my clientele was still up in the air so I thought “Eh, why not.”
That was all she wrote! From day one I was in awe of the human body. How each tiny molecule created a puzzle that fits together seamlessly. How every muscle is unique in its abilities, yet similar enough in structure to master commonalities between them. I still get a little glossy eyed when I talk about the magic that happened when the “light bulb” went off and I truly found my passion and purpose. By looking at the body as a whole instead of just one aspect I am able to better understand and address problems within the muscle structure. Utilizing joint movement and stretches I am able to work deeper within the muscle fibers to achieve results without the pain you may have experienced with traditional “deep tissue massage.”
