Alicia Roberts
Licensed Massage Therapist and Owner
As a medical massage practitioner I am very passionate about helping people find rejuvenation and renewal amidst the stresses of life…and relief from the pains that show up from injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions in the body. My bodywork style is nurturing, holistic and medical based from scientific point of view . My specialties are using a myofascial tool called graston tools to release any tension within the muscles, hot/cold stone contrast therapy, specific techniques to TMJ Dysfunction therapy, and stretching .My experience has been over many years with techniques of Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, post-natal, sports, myofascial release, stone therapy, aromatherapy, and Professor for Massage Therapy program at Horry-Georgetown Technical College .Medical massage therapy not only is my passion but it has saved me from a life of pain dealing with fibromyalgia and injuries. After my husband was injured in the military I began volunteering with our military veterans who are dealing with PTSD and life changing injuries while on duty to serve our country. I am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP). I am also trained in other parts of the medical field as a Certified Phlebotomist, Certified Electrocardiograph (EKG) Technician, South Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant, and CPR -Certified by the American Heart Association. I am pleased to add a service of Reiki to the list of my healing wheel. I am so excited to help all of the many people that come through our doors for the full holistic healing and become family and friends in the end. I look forward to meeting you all soon.

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Sarga Bodywork Practitioner ®, Level Four Reiki Master Practitioner/Teacher, and a retired veteran of the US Navy with 20 years of active duty service. I have my Bachelors Degree of Science in Biology with emphasis in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, and Genetics. After experiences with clients who suffer from PTSD, I saw reiki and massage as a great alternative to conventional treatments with drugs. It brings a sense of calm and peace to me and my clients each time I conduct a session. I invite you to come with an open mind to achieve a sense on inner peace with me.
